Lesson 2.4: Equality and Conduct
Respect Everyone. Represent DIMA.
You’re not just representing yourself when you’re on shift — you’re representing DIMA Group. That means treating everyone you interact with fairly, respectfully, and professionally.
We don’t tolerate discrimination, bullying, harassment, or anything that puts a colleague, client, or member of the public at risk of harm or disrespect.
Treat Everyone With Respect
- Clients
- Team members
- Members of the public
- Venue staff
- Supervisors and managers
It doesn’t matter where someone comes from, what they look like, or what their role is — everyone deserves equal respect.
What We Don’t Tolerate
Discrimination
Any behaviour that targets someone based on their race, gender, age, religion, sexuality, disability, or background is completely unacceptable.
Harassment
This includes comments, jokes, or behaviour that make others feel uncomfortable or unsafe — whether physical or verbal.
Bullying or Intimidation
You are expected to work as a team — not create tension, gossip, or isolate others. If you’ve got an issue, raise it professionally.
Aggression or Swearing
We work in high-pressure environments, but losing your cool, raising your voice, or swearing at colleagues or customers is never appropriate.
What to Do If You Witness or Experience It
- Speak up. If you feel safe to do so, call it out.
- Report it. Let your supervisor or manager know immediately.
- Keep it professional. Don’t argue or retaliate — escalate the issue through the right channels.
Every report will be taken seriously, handled confidentially, and followed up properly.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
At DIMA Group, we actively promote:
- Equal opportunities for all staff
- Inclusive recruitment and placement
- Support for diverse backgrounds and lived experiences
We believe a strong team is a diverse team, and everyone deserves to feel safe and valued while working with us.
