We are currently recruiting SIA Door Supervisors to support quick service restaurant (QSR) venues across Exeter. This is a great opportunity to join a reliable, friendly, and switched on team focused on creating safe and welcoming environments for both customers and staff.

Purpose of Role

To provide a safe and secure environment for customers, staff, and property by managing entry, monitoring behaviour, and responding to incidents in a professional and customer friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all customers and staff
• Manage queues effectively to maintain a smooth and controlled flow of entry and exit
• Monitor behaviour inside and outside the venue to maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere
• Enforce venue policies and procedures in line with licensing requirements
• De-escalate situations using conflict management techniques
• Respond to incidents professionally and in line with company procedures
• Accurately record and report incidents where required
• Work closely with venue management to ensure smooth day to day operations

Requirements

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
• Previous customer service experience in a similar role (essential)
• Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Professional attitude and appearance
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• 5 year checkable employment or education history with references (BS7858 compliant)
• Must be over 18 years of age
• Must be able to independently commute to EX4 3EB

Further Information

A minimum hourly rate of £14.50 per hour (comprising a pay rate of £12.94 and indicative holiday pay of £1.56). Holiday pay is indicative as it is accrued at 12.07 percent for every hour worked. If you work at a different rate, the pay and holiday pay will adjust accordingly.

Shift Pattern: 23:00 to 04:00 (subject to change based on venue requirements)
