As we bid farewell to the winter season and welcome the new beginnings of spring, it’s been an eventful few months for us at DIMA and we’re excited to share the highlights with you.

Expanding Services to Care Homes
We are thrilled to announce that we have expanded our services to provide highly skilled and dedicated chefs across a number of care homes with more on the way. By partnering with these care homes, we aim to enhance residents’ dining experiences, ensuring they receive nutritious meals catering to their specific dietary requirements and preferences. Furthermore, we have been providing relief chefs for local businesses in Fife as well as in Edinburgh and supporting where we can to help with the smooth running of our client’s venues.

Commitment to Excellence
We are proud to be members of the National Association of Care Catering NACC and registered with Disclosure Scotland to obtain PVG checks for all our employees, reinforcing our dedication to upholding the highest standards in care and service. As members of the NACC, we gain access to a wealth of resources, knowledge, and expertise in the care catering industry.

Giving Back through Charity
We participated in a charity initiative through Forth One for Cash for Kids, where we donated to a great cause. As part of our donation, we offered an exclusive opportunity to the winner, by providing a private chef who will cater a delightful meal at their home, complemented by food vouchers, to enjoy a memorable dining experience with their friends and family. The winner has reached out to us, and we have scheduled a date for this special occasion in May.

Website Redesign and Branding
In January, we proudly launched our new website and we were excited to share our new branding colours and improved ways for our staff and clients to connect with us. Although our aesthetics have changed, our commitment to providing security services and hospitality and catering staff across the entire region of Scotland remains the same. Celebrating Local Achievements
We were honoured to have sponsored the Mid-Sized Business of the Year category at the Edinburgh Business Awards in February. Congratulations to Muckle Media for bringing home the award! Our team had a fantastic evening celebrating the accomplishments of local businesses.

Upcoming Events and Initiatives:

Andy’s Man Club
In April, we are delighted to be hosting a session with Andy’s Man Club in Edinburgh. AMC are a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free peer-to-peer support groups. This event aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for men to come together and discuss their mental health. A representative will deliver a talk on the importance of men’s mental health and about the fantastic work they are doing and everyone in the room will be able to network.

New KP Training Program
We are excited to announce the launch of our Kitchen Porter training program. The training program aims to upskill our brilliant staff on all things kitchen related, from label meanings, KP duties, cleaning products, storage and support information and resources. It will provide a comprehensive training and development opportunity for aspiring professionals in the culinary industry.

New Clients
We have secured a number of exciting new venues and events as part of our ongoing efforts to expand our reach and provide exceptional staffing solutions and security services. Some of these we can’t quite release as of yet, but do keep an eye out for upcoming announcements.

ACS Accreditation
In the background, we have been working hard towards our ACS accreditation. This is a well-recognised accolade to obtain in the security industry and we hope to have secured this by the end of Summer 2024.
