Lesson 3.3 – Site Arrival, Client Check-In & Professional Conduct
Arriving on site
You must arrive at your assigned site on time and prepared to work. Arriving late, unprepared, or without the correct uniform or equipment may result in removal from the shift.
On arrival you must:
• Enter the venue promptly
• Ensure you are in full uniform with your SIA badge clearly displayed
• Be ready to begin work at your scheduled start time
Client check in
Once on site, you must introduce yourself to the appropriate venue representative or duty manager.
You must:
• Identify yourself as DIMA Group security staff
• Confirm your shift details
• Ask if there are any immediate issues or updates
• Maintain a professional and respectful manner at all times
Clear communication with clients helps ensure smooth operations and effective working relationships.
Preparing for your shift
Before starting your duties you must:
• Book on using the C247 app
• Read Assignment Instructions and site documents
• Familiarise yourself with emergency procedures
• Check any relevant risk assessments
You must not start duties without understanding site requirements.
Professional conduct on client premises
While on client premises you are expected to:
• Act professionally and respectfully
• Follow site rules and procedures
• Communicate clearly with staff and customers
• Avoid unnecessary confrontation
• Represent DIMA Group positively at all times
Your behaviour on site directly impacts client confidence and future work opportunities.
Dealing with issues on site
If you encounter any issues on site, including staffing concerns, safety issues, or unclear instructions, you must report these to management as soon as possible.
You must not ignore issues or attempt to resolve matters outside your authority.
